As a second-year graduate student at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center, I am working towards a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics. I earned my Master of Arts in Mathematics through the Contiguous Bachelor’s/Master’s Pathway (4+1 program) at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Currently, my research interests lie in Geometric Group Theory with an emphasis on mapping class groups.

I am a Graduate Teaching Fellow, excited to serve as an adjunct instructor at Baruch College. I was an Open Knowledge Fellow with the Mina Rees Library, where I learned to leverage openly-licensed, free educational resources to provide our diverse student body with the momentum for upward mobility.

Drawing on my passions and experiences, I aspire to be a research mathematician and equity-minded educator in my field.
